Assessors & Quality Assurance

These Assessor qualifications are open to people conducting assessments and quality assurance in most learning environments. This includes Further Education, Adult Continuing Learning, Employers and Third Sector. They are designed for anyone assessing and carrying out quality assurance in all occupational sectors, accredited learning, non-accredited learning (e.g. where performance is being assessed by the learner and is not undertaking a qualification) and qualifications on the National Qualification Framework (NQF).
This qualification is intended for those who assess both occupational competence in the work environment and vocational skills and knowledge and understanding in a workshop, classroom or other training environments rather than assessing competence in a work environment.
The Quality Assurance (IV) courses are for people to become qualified Internal Verifiers (IV’s) or Internal Quality Assurers (IQA’s).
The Internal Quality Assurance Awards and Certificates are suitable for those working within Further Education Colleges, Private Training Providers, Local Authorities, etc.
