The qualifications can support an individual effectively gaining a job, progressing in a chosen field.  The qualifications can prepare the individual for further study and supporting the development of techniques required.

The Employability Skills courses take an activity-based approach , these qualifications are can help individual for progress in education and/or their employment prospects; get into a job, develop on the job or move onto the next job, as they progress along the career. An employer’s expectations, and the working environment. Developed in response to an increasing national focus on work-related learning, these courses will meet the needs of providers looking for a programme of activities to support learners in preparation for vocational training, for achieving an employability qualification, or for getting a job.

The aim is to improve learners’ through Employability Skills courses, so they have the knowledge and understanding of the workplace.
